what happen to variety its the same movies over and over. what about scariest places on earth, tower of terror, goolies, night mare on elm street, or the regular casper, etc. Or showing all the halloween episodes for the shows on the network. I am pretty sure that sabrina, boy meets world, and the others have halloween episodes you guys can air at least the day before halloween, instead of showing the same movies over again.
willy wonka and the chocalte factory, Mr.Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, and the bridge to teribithia are not halloween movies.
Every year this network halloween and christmas specials are getting more repetitive and boring. For once can a network do things the old way. And what the heck is Van Helsing?

    • Sunshine says:

I know, we have the same complaint with the 13 days of halloween! I used to look foward to and enjoy their holiday specials but its just getting ridiculous for Halloween and Christmas too. I will say that Van Helsing actually fits the genre for halloween as it is about hunting vampires and supernatural creatures, i’m not saying its a good movie but it does fit that general definition 🙂

    what about halloween town??

  3. HKMar says:

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE 13 days of halloween!! && yes disney should show Halloween town halloweentown 2 &3 Also i cant wait to see the SHORTS! on abc family!!

check out my blog please! 🙂 http://www.ribadeneira86report.wordpress.com also i’m on twitter @HKMar 🙂

I don’t understand how they’re getting away with not showing Scariest Places on Earth. Scariest Places on Earth what was STARTED “13 Nights of Halloween”.

  5. blahxblah says:

What is with all of the movies that have nothing to do with Halloween??

No one gives a flying fig about America’s Funniest Videos. That show needs to RETIRE. It’s boring. ABC Family needs more Halloween MOVIES & you should also air it as 31 Days of Halloween. Why is it 13? You show 25 Days of Christmas. I think you should do the same for Halloween since people love it more.

    • jose says:

its 13 days because its suppose to be superstitious and “cursed” which goes with the superstition of halloween. 25 days of xmas is because xmas is on dec. 25. it only makes sense.
also i dont think abc family could be able to air 31 days of the saaame movies over and over and over

  6. rlr says:

I thought the repeat of the shows listed was a computer gliche. I was so excited because this is the first time in 5 years that we have abc family. I’m so disappointed! Whoever does the line up needs to get booted over to pbs.

    • Sunshine says:

That’s my biggest issue with the 13 days of halloween, not only are the movies not really “halloweeny” but they repeat constantly. I mean its only 13 days you would think they could find enough movies for variety!

  7. Tracy says:

What is the deal with all these non Halloween movies? Why can’t you people play Casper, Tower of Terror, The Little Vampire, The Adams Family, It for crying out loud? This is ridiculous maybe if they get enough people to complain about this someone will get the boot. Obviously the network doesn’t care for there viewers at all. I hate Halloween now because they always skip this holiday in my part of the country. They are always promoting Christmas to early, but when you air Christmas on this channel you can’t even play Christmas movies. Maybe these complaints will get the network talking.

  8. Mortisha says:

I know it is not the same but you can find Tower of Terror and Don’t Look Under the Bed on YouTube to watch. Still isn’t the same I know but you do get to still see it I guess. I am looking when and who is showing Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown… have it on disc but love to catch it on tv anyway. Hope that helps.

  9. Mortisha says:

Oh and if you google Scariest Places on Earth you will find lots of episodes to watch there. Take care Everyone…

BTW… I hate the Christmas lineups the past few years. What happened to all the fun Christmas Shows?

  10. nicholas hightz says:

what the crap!? where is all the halloween movies like when good ghostd go bad or the old good stuff?! this is crap

  11. David says:

I really used to look foward to the 13 nights of halloween on this channel but seeing how the movies these past years arent exactly halloween and are very repetative me an my family have decided to just watch dvd’s of halloween shows. what happened to all the good stuff like halloweentown 1-4, good ghouls go bad , Goosebumps haunted mask 1-2 , and halloween episodes of roseanne , home improvement , raymond , charlie brown. They could do alot better with selection if they tried. Oh well the 13 nights of halloween were good the first few years lol.

  12. Nana says:

Its not on standard tv, without cable so why advertise on standard tv. In this tough economy people just can’t afford 2 have this luxury so why tease us???

  13. maureen says:

tv commercials are advertising a new toy story movie to be played during this time. where is listing for this?
