I see the potential in this show, so ABC don’t let me down!

The pilot episode shows us how some of our favorite fairy tale characters end up in our reality.  The Evil Queen put a curse on our friends causing them to forget who they are and freeze the time in their town.  The Evil Queen spoke of her curse on the wedding day of Snow White and Prince Charming.  As apparently 9 months passed Snow White became more and more anxious and went to see Rumpelstiltskin to seek the future for guidance.  She of course gave up her unborn child’s name, so I’m sure that will have a big consequence.  The same day that the Evil Queen (Parrilla) decided to evoke her wrath was the same day that Snow White went into labor.  Luckily Japeto was able to create a magical wardrobe from a magical tree that could only protect one person.  As Prince Charming (Dallas) fought his way to the wardrobe with his daughter he is injured.  In Storybrook Prince Charming is John Doe, a man in a coma in the hospital.

It is up to bounty hunter Emma (Morrison) to save everyone.  We learn through a sequence of flashbacks that she is actually the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming.  Emma is brought to the town of Storybrooke by her son, Henry (Gilmore).  This was a bit of a shock for Emma because she put her child up for adoption when he was a baby.  We then find that the Evil Queen is the Mayor of Storybrooke, Snow White is a teacher named Mary Margaret and Rumpelstiltskin is Mr. Gold, a man who owns the whole town.  For some reason it seemed like he did remember because he was very interested in Emma when he ran into her at the inn.  If you didn’t get a chance to watch it view it online and tell me if you think this show is a hit or miss.
