Drop Dead Diva returned last night for its third season.  We picked up were we left off with Grayson in a coma.  Well sort of, it wouldn’t be DDD if we didn’t have a musical dream sequence!

Anyway, this episode was a good kick off for the season with guest appearances from LeAnn Rimes and Wendy Williams!  That’s right Wendy Williams plays the sister of a judge who gets to pass judgement on Kim’s case.  So here are some high points to last night

  • Grayson came out of his coma but he had amnesia.  This was not played out long because he soon remembered everything up to going to the restaurant.  This caused him to ask Jane to be his man of honor again in front of his fiance.  Of course she said yes.
  • Kim is on her own and thanks to Fred still being at the office she is getting clients.  Her first case away from the firm is against a client who “false advertised” fidelity.  He of course had Parker to represent him.  This brought him and Kim back together… in the courtroom but she is not having it any other way.
  • Jane and her new intern Stacy, represented a movie star who was charged with hitting and then killing a 12-year-old girl.  After all sorts of drama and Stacy using her street knowledge the truth came out and her client was proven innocent.
