Two fifth graders got caught behind the school (Austin Michael Coleman and Haley Pullos).  When sent to the principals office they see House sitting on the bench.  The two ask him why he is there and he asks why the girl had a black eye.

Three days earlier, House went to a patients dorm to get his roommates to hack into his laptop.  We then flash to two hours earlier, House is speaking at a career day under a different name.  House told the class and the duo three different stories.

  1. College student who coughs up a piece of dead lung tissue
  2. A mother who is numb “downstairs”
  3. Cuddy not happy with their relationship.

The girl from the duo focuses on the relationship with Cuddy.  She is convinced it is the root of all the problems.  House stole Cuddy’s laptop to fix their relationship.

It turned out that the girl got a black eye because th young “wannabe House” hit her with the puck during indoor hockey.  House confessed that he was able to read Cuddy’s journal and that he always has to be right in the relationship.  It turns out that House was at the school to help Cuddy get her daughter into her first choice pre-school.  What a confusing episode to get to this conclusion.

On House’s way to the school he rear ended another career day speaker and was caught in his lie of not using his right name.  This lead him and the other guy into a fight and House to the principal’s office.

Through a little inspiration from the principal he figured out what was wrong with the college student… a pea!  He also learned that he needs Cuddy and Rachel in his life.
