I’m going to lay it out right now…..Hawaii Five-O is not a show i’m going to blog every week, but it is a show i’m going to watch every week.  If the rest of the season follows the lines of the pilot I am in all the way.  Hawaii Five-O is nothing suprising if you have ever watched the old show or if you have ever watched a cop procedural.  What makes this show different is the casting, Scott Cann as Danny Williams, Daniel Dae Kim as Chin Ho Kelly, Alex O’ Laughlin as Steve McGarrett, and Grace Park as Kona Kalakaua play off each other beautifully.  There back and forth seems natural and that make the show something worth watching.  The reason I won’t blog this is because this show is pure fun, there is no major reason for me to come here every week to tell you all what happened.  What I am going to tell you is to tune in, sit back, and enjoy the ride.

The other thing that sets this show apart is the fact that is is like watching an action movie in one hour form every week.  It has all the cliches (two cops with pistols taking down automatic weapons, two cops fighting a whole gang) but they are done well.  It is fun to know that your favorite guys will always win, and you really do want them to win.

You will never tire of hearing Scott Cann called Dan-O or seeing the muscles on Daniel Dae Kim and for you guys you have Grace Park to entertain you.  So bottom line watch this show and enjoy it for what it is!

I really liked the show! Book ’em Dan-O! My dad wished the show would come on at 8pm so he could stay up and watch it, lol. He said the guys from the original would never make it in the high tech new Hawaii Five-0. A definete watch for late night on Mondays.

Y’know, you have a point. There is no reason to blog about H5-O week after week, because it’s probably going to be the same goofy fun, over and over. I enjoyed it for what it was: A slicked-up, buffed-up gloss on the old show. Sit back and enjoy the sights, from the ocean scenery to the cast.

As Jack Lord used to say, “Be there. Aloha.”

Yeah, this is definately one of those shows that you just have to enjoy for what it is and don’t over think it….this isn’t Lost! And I’m thankful for that, I need some mindless entertainment during my week 🙂
