Scott Pilgrim VS. The World: For those of you who have not read the Scott Pilgrim comics or didn’t bother to look up the Wiki page to see what this movie is all about, i’m betting the trailers have not been very appealing.  A combination of video games, comic panels, fantasy worlds and reality it can be a lot to take in for people who are not already fans.  But i’m going to recommend you go out on a limb and check this movie out.  The story of a loser who falls in love but has to fight his new loves seven evil exes, it will be a thrilling ride.  Much like last years Kick-Ass this is a movie for the fans, but if non-fans check it out they are going to love it.  I am going to catch the midnight show tomorrow so look for my review first thing Friday! Eat, Pray, Love: Julia Roberts takes the lead as a woman who has run out of options in her life and needs to find direction.  She travels the world and finds that what really matters is good friends, good food, and faith.  This movie has been promoted for what feels like years, it will probably be good but i’m so tired of seeing Julia Roberts face, I may just have to pass.  This is a toss up for you, if Scott Pilgrim or the Expendables aren’t your cup of tea, this will be a nice option for you.  (photo from filmfodder.com)

The Expendables:  A movie I might actually more excited to see than Scott Pilgrim, The Expendables has all your favorite old action stars crammed into one movie.  With Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Jet Li, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Gary Daniels and Arnold Schwarzeneeger this movie has AWESOME written all over it.  It will either be awesomely bad or awesomely good and either way works for me.  A definate must see for your weekend, especially if you have ever enjoyed any of these people in any movie…ever!  (photo from reelmovienews.com)
